Hi:

Things have changed a lot in the past few months and I have started a brand new blog to reflect that.  When I started this blog I knew something was happening to me…I was changing in profound ways.  I did not understand it…it was like a huge, spiritual treasure hunt.

Now, I know a lot more.  I have been experiencing “Ascension.”  We all are in different ways.  Now I have stepped into new abilities and have started teaching others and sharing the channelings I receive through dreams.

So, come visit me for ascension experiences, dreams, insights and advice

Tears are fine. They’re just cleaning the windows.

Imbolc vision

Posted in Uncategorized on February 3, 2008 by lunadauhnn

imbolcvision.jpgI’m trying to start capturing my dreams and visions on paper with sketches and paintings. This is my first quick sketch. It was how I saw myself during a guided meditation/visualization during an Imbolc journey at Wanderland. We were honoring the Goddess Brigid.

Amazing little OTG home

Posted in Uncategorized on January 21, 2008 by lunadauhnn

Neighbors/friends just finished their new, little farm home that is pretty much Off The Grid (OTG.)

I find the concept of producing your own (limited) energy very intriguing but the thing that really gets me is that they (and other friends) do not have a refrigerator.

Go figure!

A spider story

Posted in Uncategorized on January 9, 2008 by lunadauhnn

From a Hopi creation story in a myth book:

“Spider Grandmother helps the humans evolve from lower animals, over time in several stages. After three stages in chambers underground, the people climb to the surface. Then, Spider Grandmother teaches them how “to weave.”

The depiction with the story has a twelve-petal sun flower, perhaps suggesting the pattern humanity will learn “to weave” at the forth stage, the Heart chakra. “

Note: Interesting the tie in with sunflower…that is the flower that always will symbolize my friend, Mike, because of the sunflower seeds he planted in the garden we put in together. While we worked though the pain of his loss, held the memorial and the months that followed, we could see those sunflowers he planted growing taller and taller. We always felt his presence strong in that garden. It was a very healing place for all his friends.

Tattoos…

I want to get a tattoo…

I think I’ll be getting something Goddess or Moon related or, perhaps the image on the tarot card, “The Fool.” The symbol that is actually resonating the most with me, right now, is the triple goddess or Celtic triple spiral. I would have it done in a henna color with shading. I think that Lucky Dog tattoo in Seaside, Oregon is the place I will have it done. They do wonderful work and are only about 25 miles from my house in Nehalem, Oregon.

Was researching celtic symbols when I ran across this really amazing tattoo parlor in Osaka.

So, what tattoo do you think I should get? Ping me!!!

Full moon visitors

coon.jpgThis really large raccoon is a regular around the yard…and he hangs out in the garage if the door is left open. Our first encounter was when I headed out to the the laundry room, one night, to put some clothes in the washer… There, just a few feet away from me was the largest raccoon I’ve ever seen. He was larger than a cat…,actually, the size of a med. size dog.

And he wasn’t shy and wouldn’t let me shoo him off…a really brazen fellow.

My landlady told me once this raccoon had actually been inside the dryer when she went to put a load of laundry in there. He likes those warm spots in the wintertime.

I’m really glad that didn’t happen to me. I think that would have pretty much freaked me out if our first encounter would have happened that way.

Still, it’s rather weird to get up in the middle of the night and happen to look out of the window and see, two inches from the glass, the raccoon’s face peering in. He likes watching us. Very strange feeling like lots of pairs of beady eyes are peering in the windows at night.

possum.jpgOh, then I saw a (not so brazen) opossum come up to the back porch, last night…he’s a lot shyer than mr. coon. At one point the coon, the possum and about 3 – 4 feral cats were all congregating back in the yard, going after my pail of scraps destined for the compost bin.

Guess I’ll need to be better about getting those scraps into the bin and under a closed lid before dark!

Positive id on King Boletes mushrooms…

Posted in Uncategorized on October 27, 2007 by lunadauhnn

kingboletusunderside.jpgYeah….

Thought that’s what they were but had to go back to photo the underside for positive id.

They don’t have gills on the underside. I’ve been told they are very yummy if you get them before they turn orange (still whitish) and if you scrape the layer over the gills (underside) off before you cook….

I’m not harvesting…too chicken!

Really big ’shrooms!

Posted in Uncategorized on October 26, 2007 by lunadauhnn

bigshroom.jpgYesterday, I went exploring out on this huge peninsula we have by my house.  A spit really, bay on one side and ocean on the other.   It’s full of sand dunes, twisted blue spruce forests, ferns….lots and lots of wild life (deer, elk, coyotes, sea lions, cougar, birds and little scurrying things).  I love it, you can really go have an adventure and not see any humans the whole time.

I was hoping to find an elk or deer antler so I was bushwhacking and following animal trails.  Found lots and lots of bedding places and even bear scat (!) and patches of these gigantic mushrooms (the bugs got this one, tho).  Put my girl-sized 9.5 foot in for scale…yes, I hike around in my flip flops…

I’m told they might be a king boletes and highly prized for eating….but I am chicken and never eat wild ’shrooms as I don’t have a spare liver set aside in case of a goof….
